Weekly shopping outing
Every Wednesday morning volunteer drivers provide transport to the nearby Brookside Shopping Centre for morning tea and about an hour of shopping for the cost of $10 door to door for the transport only. Morning tea etc is paid for by the Clients.
Fortnightly social activity and local events
Every second Friday our team of Social Networking organisers and drivers take a group of clients, who are often limited in opportunities to socialise, to a range of events both within Samford Village and beyond. The usual cost of these outings is $5 per person door to door for transport only, and any other charges or costs need to be paid for by the Clients.
As in all our Transport Services, the cost of the transport is subsidised by the SSN.
